    how reliable are these brand?

    • that fact that the Rep didn't answer this question, answers this question….

  • I decided to get one and test it by myself.

  • Taiwanese Brand with 2-year replacement warranty.
I have been selling for 6 month this brand on EBAY sold more than 1000pcs.

By the way, Sandisk USB 3.0 Extreme flash drives have a very high failure rate and they
have recently stopped production to fix it.

    rds

    • But Most Memory Storage Taiwanese brands have lifetime warranty…

      • .. on certain products… not their entire inventory. Take Transcend, for example, some of their USB drives have lifetime but not the 210/220 series.

  • +1

Slight typo on each listing… "Even FASTER on USB 2.0 ports" ;) By that logic, they should be fastest on USB 1.1 ports (or a USB 1.0 port if you're lucky enough to find one)…

    • +1

BAsically, MIN. writing speed - 15MB/s on USB 2.0 ports whereas Sandisk USB 2.0 Blade, Fit do
      only 4-5MB/s

      I tested personally

  • Speed "applies to the first 20 MB of data transfer" which means nothing. What are the sustained speeds like?

    • 2-3MB/s less after 20MB/s same as Sandisk

      • correction: after 20MB

  • YEs, they are but our company provide warranty here locally in Sydney.
    So replacement time 1 day.

Moreover, based on my experience if drive works one year - it will be working forever unless you damage it.

  • Can I attach the Master thumb drives to a keychain? I can't tell from the photos.

    • Yep, the models with Nickel coating 16GB and 32GB
Another model can be attached via lanyard

    can't do it lower? :)

    • +1

can i you buy 10-20pcs outside EBAY

  • how do i change your shipping option from [FREE] to [AusPost Registered]

    • when you check out - please change shipping method

      another solution:
When you get to the "Review Your Purchase" page there should be 3 options for shipping since that is the 3 options the seller chose…If it is not there you can click on Request Total from Seller which is on the same page right next to the seller's username

      • thanks +1 sale from me.

Those speeds are not that impressive. I got a Lexar 32GB for $22 from Flingshot which writes at 45MB/s sustained. It starts at 180MB/s or so then gradually drops to 45MB/s. No it's not a reporting error by Windows. The files were copied over that quickly.

    • they don't have 32GB flash drives at all only 16GB.

      • +1

They did have them in stock when I bought them, and they will return to stock soon enough. BTW, the 180MB/s was not just for 20MB. It lasted quite a while, about half the drive filled up before it dropped to 50MB/s or so.

        • yep, they did, i almost bought one, but got the 8Gb for $3 and then for $4 delivered, which was a sweet deal…

        • the key word - almost:)
It is normal to offer undercost for couple hours and then close:)

          I always have in stock.

I have Lexarr's disti prices: 32GB UBS 3.0 over $20 so that's definately under cost

        • the key word - almost:)

          i didn't need one.

    • that model Speeds up to 3x faster (up to 45MB/s read and 20MB/s write)
      so slower and not available.

On EBAY price - over $40

  • Picked up a 32gb one, thanks.
Whilst I cant comment on this product itself, I purchase all my Sandisk SD cards for my photography from this ebay seller and found them to be excellent - fast and genuine.

    • Thx MAte, for your support!

  • I am very tempted as i am currently in the throws of purchasing a Lexar 128GB 300X with guaranteed sustained read/write speeds of 45mbs but on amazon its $130 plus delivery but its an SD card an really I would rather have that than take up one of the only 2 usb ports on my "Slate" but hmmm very tempted sounds like a great deal with local warranty, shame your Sandisk 128gb SD is so expensive.

    • HI Mate

Order today as next week price will be $95+
      rds

  • Thanks but I really need the SD card because of limited connection ports on the "slate" I just bought. But I will add you to my list on ebay … cheers and I + you on here :)

  • The more competition the better, welcome aboard.

  • What's the point of these drives being usb3 if they can't write any faster than a decent usb2 drive?

    • Sandisk usb 2.0 Cruzer Fit, Blader 4-5MB/s only

      • That wasn't my question - I did not mention Sandisk at all.

Any decent USB2 drive (not talking about cheapo $5 drives), can hit 35mb/s write speeds.

  • +1

yeah, $1o extra x 300 percent faster is where the smart money will go.
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SANDISK-EXTREME-USB-3-0-32GB-CZ80…
    @100MBs=360GBph; =filled in 5min.

    • -2

Sandisk always advertises unrealistic speeds, I sell them as well for almost HK's price in Sydney
I tested the real write speed 30-35MB/s

The same with their Sandisk Extreme SD cards 45MB/s - the real write speed - 15-16MB/s only

      • Are you certain of that, USB 3.0 with SanDisk?

        so you are not getting what others got?;

        http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1786962&p…
        Sequential Read : 139.032 MB/s
        Sequential Write : 109.272 MB/s
        http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1786962&p…
        Sequential Read : 197.416 MB/s
        Sequential Write : 177.996 MB/s

:It would appear to be 100MBs as stated. :Good price if they're@ $3X.00.

        • Thx for info.
My price 46.85 with TAX and GST

By the way, Sandisk has stopped production due to ahigh failure rate of these drives.
Actually, the same situation as with 64GB MIcro SD Ultra Mobile.
Even now, their Ultra mobile are not good so better buy Samsung

  • Anyone got one with any feedback?

I need another 64GB. I think I'll give it a go for the price.

    • +1

Arrived today. Don't know much about these things but it's twice as fast as my Patriot Xtreme 32GB. Can't be bad?

      • Does yours support the transmission value: 62.5 — 625 MB/s?

Let me get that for you. :Computer says no.

        • :) I still use a computer cobbled together over the years, about four now, and keep my considerations simple because it's all just too bloody technical. Price and acceptable speed, for now, are what matter to me. It's always changing, isn't it.

But are you saying the Master is not USB 3, according to your computer? Since I just compared a few supposed USB 3 sticks, including the Master, and they all came back with similar numbers, none are really USB 3?

I wouldn't know how to test them "using powerful professional grade or developmental equipment." I just compare one to the other using the same software, parameters and hardware. I know, not very scientific, just relative.

BTW, I made a mistake about the Patriot - had to check that again, it was the Verbatim USB2 I was referring to.

        • I have no need to run the ["insert label"] through my computer.

:) The value of an open forum; +with observance to standards.

Maybe it is early days for USB 3 yet.

        • Planned marketing? Next year they'll be just a little bit faster for the same or a little less money. Unless they can find a reason for charging more money … Oh well! :)
