Better to wait for an aliexpress deal, unless you need it immediately. You'll pay half the price.

  • need thunderbolt.. any bargain?

    • Gotta be very careful what you buy. Some aren’t USB compatible.

  • Got this for $17.80 on Temu a few months ago and it has been working perfectly with the Samsung 970 Evo Plus. The heatsink works quite well in keeping the drive cool. Prior to that I always had issues due to thermal throttling with cheaper ones on eBay.

  • Grabbed one last time during the TC Prime promo, it's pretty good.

One of the few enclosures that have proper cooling, though perhaps cooling is overrated for 10Gbps. Unlike sliding ones there's a tiny lip in the plastic case that the heatsink can slot into at an angle, from there it can be sandwiched onto the SSD for good contact. The downside is the fiddly installation.

Also see their website for a firmware update.

  • Case can be quite sharp.

  • This looks the same - $17.76 with eBay Plus coupon, PLUS5C3BZJYVXG7M

  • This is built pretty poorly. The cover (the heatsink) is only secured on one side with a screw, and the casing is plastic.

  • I bought one couple of months ago. Very solid. Didn't use heat sink as wanted to clone a drive, so got very hot (warning). Recommend it.

  • Compared to ASUS ROG Strix Arion M.2, any advantages? (Other than price)

  • Doh. Paid $35 on Sunday. Can I msg amazon to refund?

  • Thanks I hate it.

It's not the version on the video with plastic swing tab holding the ssd.
It's a fiddly little rubber nub that is easy to break and lose.
