Would rather a grinder…. Also tourch not really a piece
There’s an app for that… sorry I had to
Looks like it comes in a nice hard ….
Lol,sorry had to also
hmmm, torch must be a figment of our imaginations.
Would this be at all stores or specific to Ringwood only?
Good deal. Looks like it comes in a nice hard carry case?
Damn that seems like a real good deal
great deal. i just got the Ryobi brushless combo set last week. This would have been better but for the little DIY I'll do not worth the hassle of a refund
A good DIY kit, but that's about as far as I would go
This kit doesn't seem to have a hammer drill?
How important is it to have a hammer drill if you need to make holes in bricks?
Very. Rotary hammer with SDS bits is the sheet.
Rotary SDS is great, but not necessary for occasional use. It's also heavier and bulkier, which means harder to hold in tight spaces or overhead, more likely to drill wonky holes etc. They can cut through bricks like butter and the chisel attachments are amazing for lifting tiles, demolition, etc
Hi Mates,
Anyone welling to meet me there, so I can purchase it ?
I do not have a costco card as I live too far from it (Pasco Vale).
Thanks a lot.Get a membership, buy the stuff, refund the membership?
Is that even possible to get a membership refund ?
If so It might be awkward.Could be cool to meet another OZbargainer there.
Yep, you can literally cancel the day before your renewal and get a refund (at least that is what they told me).
@nmartin84: I am going to do that then. Thanks
Would love to know if docklands has these…
DeWalt is great. Actually I had them before I moved to Ryobi and DeWalt was much better quality. But the Ryobi range is hard to beat
ryobi is very easy to beat. DeWalt beats it as you just mentioned you silly goose.
I said the range is hard to beat.
Costco Epping has this. But looks like everyone has it in their trolly so be quick. Lol
Everyone is a handyman now?
Looks like Epping is out. Just saw someone buy the last 3
What you doing in sydney
@easternculture: Haha theres an Epping in Vic too
Shame the impact driver isn't brushless. Still very good price for the kit with 2 batteries though, can't go wrong.
Says XR Brushless on the side
Also on the tool itself in the picture you can see it has the same tag ‘18V XR Brushless’. I think Costco’s tag is incorrect.
I think you are correct !
Confirmed Sydney Marsden Park has different combo DCZ4533M2 with the same price. Not good as OP. Personally don't know brushed tools.
Is the jigsaw equipped with a brushless or brushed motor?
Brushless. It says so on the side of the tool.
The 331 that is listed on the tag is brushed. The model on the shelf is the 335 which is brushless and replaced the 331 five years ago. Your guess is as good as mine as to which is included in the kit.
Is the Tstak box the normal size? I'm assuming that it is the usual briefcase size and not the deeper one.
Anyone know if there are stocks at Costco Docklands or Epping?
I called Epping and they had 5 left but based on some other comment it might be out of stock.
But Ringwood has plenty at the time of this comment.
OP description should be updated to state that the tools are brushless (except for the torch of course) and the batteries are 2x 2Ah.
is it only avai in Vic? how about WA?
@kurdoxan thank you!
I got the last one at Epping. Actually it was from return.you're welcome
If I only needed the jigsaw is it worth driving 1 hr one-way, fight the traffic, then resell all the other stuff to essentially get the jigsaw for free?
Only a great deal if you are after the jigsaw. The impact driver and drill are the most used tools in most people's kits and you'd be better off either spending a little bit more for the better DeWalt models or going with cheaper Ryobi or Ozito ones that will outperform these entry level DeWalt ones anyway.
I also don't need the torch, I don't need the luggage because I prefer a soft one, the drill is just a toy and you can get a better valued one from Aldi or Ryobi-Ozito.
I bet who bought this kit has planned in advance to sell the tools one by one on Marketplace to make some profit LOL
Were these Ryobi tools better than the Dewalt ones on this deal?

Good price.. Although torch isn't exactly a piece imho, but still worth it even if you don't count the torch.
Noice
