Why do you claim that it is reduced on OzBargain? It's reduced on your website and comes up in a search done by anyone. There is nothing particular to OzB users so I think that claim is void.

I've noticed that quite a few Reps pull that stunt. O_o

    • jdr, We've changed the wording to 'on our site'. We do hope OzBargain users enjoy notice of the discount however.

  • Perfect timing! Just last night, as I tore my boyfriend to shreds, I figured it was about time I tackled my grody toenails. ;D

    • "……as I tore my boyfriend to shreds…."

I had the impression you were male. Now I'm not sure :)

Lol no no, I'm not sporting meat & two veg. I am a bit of a tom-boy though.. well, not a girly-girl by any stretch of the imagination anyway. ;D

    • Also for do it yourself heart surgery? :)

    Are the blades diamond tipped?

i bought a cheapie $3-4 200mm secateur from bunnings which i use to make cuttings. seems very sharp. when it goes blunt i will just buy another one at that price.

Fiskars are made in Finland I think.

Rather support companies that try to make a good quality product over junk that I have to rebuy every few months.

The Rep states in the listing that these are made in Taiwan.

        • +3

They used to be made in Finland.
Seeing as they made in Taiwan I don't recommend them any more.

my point was that for occasional use the cheapies are great. mine are still cutting fine after 6 months of regular use. with the outlay required for the really expensive ones i could buy numerous cheapie replacements.

i bought the fiskars grass trimmers when they were on special at bigw a while back. they were junk. bolt+spring kept popping off.

the fiskars aluminium garden hand tools at bunnings for under $5 are ok though a bit brittle (had two snap on me when i was a bit rough with them).
