Q: Is this compatible with Australian power outlets?
A: No, I had to buy an adaptor to plug it into an Australian power points.

Been using since last December when it was $250 or so. It's not good tbh. Gets stuck, keeps going round and round on furniture legs, loses it's way under confined spaces like under bar chairs, had to map numerous times to get it sorta there, forgot the map when we went on holiday for 3 weeks and came back, if the power outage happens or you switch off the dock from the wall, it will forget it is still sitting in the charging dock and about 4/5 hours later it will get out of the dock and keep going around to find it's dock and eventually will run out of battries. It's extremely loud on 3000 suction just cannot use it in that setting so we use it in one setting below which is not that great. Automatic boost suction in carpet has stopped working, mop oscillates but as it wears it does not touch the ground fully flat so it's missing spots. My bedrooms are vinyl but it thinks it's carpet and never goes in there during mopping mode - have to manually pick it up and lock it in each bedroom for mopping mode. Just not happy at all with it.

    • That's a review worthy of ya username. Thanks man.

I was betting on it getting stuck. It's really difficult to design them to prevent getting stuck etc. My Xiaomi gen1 does a reasonable job but still can get stuck under low couches etc. It still gets updates depite being 5 years old.

    • Strange, mine has none of these problems. Very happy with mine, paid about $250 in the same deal I think.

Map did take a few runs to build but since the app populated with a map I have had no troubles needing rebuilds.

You do need to buy new mopping pads though, they wear but that is to be expected. They are cheap.

      • I purchased a pack of 5 pads, bunch of brushes, filters etc. from AliExpress for less than $25 AUD. Was super happy about that.

  • So many good reviews on Amazon though.

  • Did a bit of digging about robovacs and found that they are really hit and miss, regardless of price range. I'd rather wait til a known good one comes up than take a punt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53-ce8K8aTo

    • Depending upon budget … we purchased this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/778698

If it comes up again, I would happily suggested having a look.

So far it is working like a trooper every day in vac mode only (no mop yet) … mop freaks me out with fear of a water dump when I'm on holidays.

I've seen them on ebay also go for around the same money.

Mapping is very quick with a single pass of the home as it cleaned. Then it just keeps refining the map it appears.

      YMMV.
