Kambrook 4.5l Slow Cooker $29 Was $69

90

I purchased one of these this afternoon at Chermside Kmart in QLD. Seems to have good reviews and the cheapest I can find online is $39+ Shipping, which to Brisbane postcode 4000 is $12.44. They had about 20 on the shelf and more out the back. Can upload a picture of my receipt if anyone wants it. The link I posted goes to the 6l version on Kmart's website, I can't seem to find the 4.5l on there but it looks the same.

Cheers Baycie.

  • If the 4.5L was $69, and the 6L is $69 online now, then the 6L must be on special now too? Confusing :)

I think it's just that the folks at Kmart have a penchant for the number 69.. for some reason. ~whistles innocently~

LoL! People are neg'ing me for that?! Geez.. tough crowd in here tonight. ~laffn~

    • The 6L was full price instore, otherwise I would have gotten the 6L instead of the 4.5L.

      • The same 6L that's advertised for $59.95 on Kambrook's website?

        • Seeing as you can't buy from the Kambrook website, I assume that $59.95 must be the rrp for the 6L. That means that the rrp for the 4.5L is really $49.95. It KMartreally priced it at $69, that would be surprising.

        • It was marked as $69, I don't work for Kmart so I have no idea why it would be higher than the RRP.

        • Kambrook has a 6L Pressure Cooker that's $99.95 RRP on their website sold for $39 at Kmart, so I have my suspicion why the 6L slow cooker with a $59.95 RRP is sold for $69…

  • Thanks for the heads up. I've been eyeing one of these off for a while. Great price. Just picked one up in Eastlands, Tassie for $29.

  • why is this better than the one at coles with chrome finish and 6.5l going for ~$12.5?
    Can remember the brand now.

This Kambrook is my third slow cooker, my first two (el cheapo brands) didn't really cook slow, they would cook too quickly & meals would burn if cooked for the recommended time. I tried out a lamb ragout in the Kambrook on Monday and found it needed the full eight hours on low to cook, turned out perfect!
