  • I have something similar bought pre covid for 22 bucks with 2 batteries from aliexpress.. looks the same though who knows about the motor… still works a treat on smallish branches that are too thick for an electric pruner and even small trees.. the batteries do not last AT all but mine uses ryobi style batteries so thats a non issue since I have plenty of Ryobi batteries.. still havent had the need to change the chain but replacements are all over Ali express.. Its amazing how without any oiling this tiny little thing has worked so well ..I have used it and lent it out to mates ..wont chop down a tree unless you have 8 hours spare and will not cut a hedge but something in between ..works a treat..I think every major brand has caught on now and offers something similar

    • What brand did you get? I like the Ryobi idea

    • Which ryobi batteries do you use/recommend? And how long do the ryobi batteries last compared to the original ones?

      • I am sorry..should have qualified by saying I am not sure whether this particular model as posted by OP is compatible with a Ryobi battery.. but there are a lot on Aliexpress which are compatible with Dewalt, Bosch, Ryobi batteries ..all of them are compatible with some brand or the other and I think all come from a similiar factory ..as for the Ryobi battery I use is the 18v ones and the charger supplied with the saw actually charges the ryobi batteries as well ..albeit slower which is a good thing

Is this for the new Hollywood low budget movie " Texas chainsaw scratches".

  • 88volt battery seems odd, I have never owned any tools that are labeled as 88v. Am I missing something?

    • 88VF is the battery model number. They're 18v

      • Thanks mate! It does say Voltage:88V in the description though?

        • I'd say it's a typo and is meant to say 'Type'. As there are several model numbers 36VF, 48VF, 98VF & 128VF.

  • Can't seem to get that price anymore - thinking it has expired?

    • The coupon is still working.

      • Brings it down to $29USD?

        • I'm getting $23.93 and $27.08 for two battery version.

          • @adr8: Seems shipping is the extra cost….i can only choose express - must be location?

@XCelR8: Yeah for some postcodes there's no option for free shipping.

@adr8: Thanks! I think ill still try it for $45.

Odd, I'm getting shipping fee forced, AU$13.95 no free shipping for me in WA.

    • Me too but ….I love way up North WA and it got delivered in two days!!!! Shipping was phenomenal!

Its fantastic, i recommend this purchase for small tree branches etc (up to 5cm is perfect).

P.S i do not have a chainsaw so can't compare!

  • Fits Makita 18v batteries?

    • The Q&A section says no, but Makita fit the one they sent me just fine.

      • Thanks - also adr8 confirmed it via pm.
