Remember to try these on a less obvious location first & use more passes/lower force to start. Going in full throttle can actually damage surprisingly tough surfaces.

  • I bought this, never used it finally. It was too much effort. The drill is heavy and your hand tires. And it can't get wet. So I worry about that.

    • I'm going to get a cheap drill to use with these new attachments as I have the same issue with my Makita hammer drill.

    • Too much effort? So doing it with arm and wrist force is preferred?

Be careful don't overload the drill when using attachments like this.

    I bought a kit from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08BXQP12R

To clean car windows with Rain-X: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B001S7ZT5A

It was attached to a Makita 18V driver/drill, after a few minutes it got really hot with burning smell, maybe that buffing pad loaded with Rain-X produced too much resistance.

  • Tried getting this tonight but they couldn't find it anywhere. It said they had stock. They recommended I place a click and collect order as they're still probably unboxing the stock.

You gotta go walkabout through the aisles and there it shall be found, in my case aisle 7! My store had 24 but no one had a clue where though.

      • Whole store was looking and they agreed they're still on the pallet. I've put my click and collect order in so I guess I just wait.

        • What Aisle does it say on website when you set to that store location?

          • @capslock janitor: None. It wasn't showing in their system either when I gave them the I/N. The field was blank but showing they had it in stock.

          • @capslock janitor: in my case edwardstown SA it was in the rack just outside the seperate tool section

    • I went to 2 Bunnings. 1st one hadn't placed the stock on the floor yet and the second pointed me exactly where it was after looking up on the computer. Was in the tool shop down one of the aisles as a promotional item.

      • I put my click and collect order in as instructed, eventually they had to pull staff from the floor to open all the stock on the pallets. Apparently they only have an hour to fill click and collect orders. Eventually they found it. Stocks been put on the floor as well now. They all had a bit of a joke when I came in next day to collect my order.

  • Save $8 and deal goes crazy

  • I found this set to be quite rubbish but it seems others have better experience than me. I purchased intending to use it to clean rims.

  • Tempted to buy before having the tool

  • Ordered. Will use that ozbargain brushless lightweight Ozito drill with it.

  • This probably has more bits and removable pads etc… but if you are after the just the brush for cleaning the bathroom showers etc… then go to aliexpress and pick similar ones for $5.

  • Ssve your cash - I got these and tried to use them to remove something on a tile - it fell apart and went straingth in the bin.
Might be OK for cleaning atoilet but dont expect to get any heavy or mild duty action form these cheap plastic parts. they just fall apart. I'd advise somethng else.

    • I've worked mine very hard on stone type tiles and after 4, 15min sessions over 18 months they hardly look worn!

I suggest you might be talking pure soap scum?

  • Was in Bunnings Edwardstown (SA) and finally found the 16 piece pack. The one that had on display in the tools sections on special for $19 was just a 3 piece set

  • i think this is the normal price since last year.

  • Aldi has similar now for $15. :-(

  • $14.89

  • I'd like everyone to know that I scratched my shower screen using the green pad to clean it.

    • Damn. I used the yellow bristle one and it appears fine.

    • why not use magic eraser?

      • I've got magic erasers and steel wool in my arsenal next to try, I'm trying to get hard water stains off.

        • +1

Steel wool will scratch just about anything. It's steel, for goodness sakes!

  • What's the best shower cleaner, for the glass screen door and tiles, heavily hard local water

    • I've got Bar Keepers Friend and CLR to try then I'm going to try Vinegar & Dish soap, these appear to be common ones mentioned on Reddit which work.

Already tried a product from the local cleaning supply shop + green pad attachment but didn't get much off.

      Vinegar (or any acid, really).

Hard water is usually defined as water, which contains a high concentration of calcium and magnesium ions. (PubMed)

Anything acid will neutralise the pH, and dissolve it. Then wipe it clean. Don't rub anything abrasive on glass; it will scratch.

      • Vinegar it is. Presuming just spray it on and wipe it down…
