  "3* Single Colour Switch" (presumably these are red, green and blue)

  This might be a dumb question, but can this light bar just do regular white light front AND back, with no strobing effects, etc? For regular office productivity use!

  Had a quick look at videos, and they all show the fancy RGB lighting modes. I dont want any of that faff - just regular lighting!

    I found one review that suggested that there's a solid colour mode available for the rear light, in addition to the rainbow vomit effects.

      Yes, there is definitely solid colour (ie. red, green, blue).

      What I'm asking about is a solid white light mode, which I havent seen or read ever mentioned (so I'm guessing no). Closest I have seen pictured is yellow (not sure if it's a fixed yellow light or part of a dynamic effect mode, as it was just a picture).

        I bought the version without remote (non pro version) from previous deal and I can set the back light to solid cool white (but no solid warm white). The solid yellow is a bit like warm white but it's more yellow than white but both are not fancy so they are ok for work. Or, you can turn the back light off completely while only turning the front light on.

          @OzComment: Cheers - ok will give it a shot!

          (I have Xiaomi one without backlight already, but want to try something with a plain backlight for a bit more light in my dingy room - rather than having to run a seperate lamp. Sockets already at a premium!)
