The Dick Smith camera accessory pack is a great starter pack for most compact cameras & includes a mini tripod and a protective hard shell camera case.
The mini tripod is a compact size and is ideal for travelling. It's flexible legs allow flexible positioning of tripod and it's screw top attaches to almost all cameras. The mini tripod is 12.5cm extended
I just got back from DSE…this camera case is quite small.
I grabbed the Case Logic HDD case ($10) for my Nuvi 50 - fits snug, and there is enough room for the car charger too:

These cases are tiny but if you can find a use for them, the case and tripod are cheap for $3 :)
Also agree with kirt for the HDD case. As a former DS employee I used to recommend them for GPSes all the time. Have one on my mum's Tomtom also :)
Would be handy to know if the case would fit those cheap Nuvi GPS navigators.
