    Why? Casio G-Shocks are made of plastic & last longer than a year. This is a much harder plastic too.

    I have a similar blue model SNE533P. The shroud is hard plastic and will not break. A bigger issue is the soft band. but its quite thick and soft & I'm not worried about it breaking.

  These are awesome, got one not long ago from Shiels.

      Half the attraction is the Seiko Solar module.
      There's no point getting a knockoff of cheapish watches, and the SD tuna would be much heavier, thicker and automatic.

      They have their place though, homages and I've got various styles of micro brands from Ali etc.
