Have had for about 5 months. Last month it would drop out ever couple of days (router also in the garage). Restarting would fix it. It's been 2 weeks hasn't needed a restart. Was almost ready to return it.
Please reboot your router to clear the network cache. Factory reset your MSG100 and reconfigure it, set a fixed IP address for the MSG100 in your router and this should be helpful.
Nope still multiple drop outs a day. Useless products ready for the bin.
Weird I had it for 18months and never experienced a drop out.
Mine was a shambles until I connected it to a 2.4ghz only access point.
2.4Ghz network + Static IP is what makes these rock solid.
Same issue, bought a few months ago, had to reboot twice.
Haven’t tried fixing to 2.4Ghz or fixed IP. I’m using apple HomeKit as well, same problem
The garage door's position is usually far from the router, please ensure your MSG100/200 has a good 2.4GWi-Fi signal(you can check it in device's settings). Currently we have a new test firmware for the MSG100(v4), if your MSG100 is HomeKit version, please contact the support team to get assistance.
Works better when connected to the Apple HomeKit app, otherwise running off the Meross app is terrible

Can you power these directly off the motor?
My gate motor (centurion d5 evo) is ages away from the power, so wondering if this will work.
Could be a minor issue. The power comes with a micro USB cable and a power adapter.

Fully compatible with this model. Insert the signal cable from the unit and set it up on a smartphone. Done!
Insert the signal cable to which terminals? I have 6 terminals on my Doorworks GDC6 with 2 being used, so I am not sure to insert the Meross ones into which ones?
There are two terminals PB & GND on the far right, please connect the MSG100's signal cables to the PB & GND.
I bought this the last time it was on sale. No longer have a need for it as it didn’t fit my intended use case. If anyone wants an as-new one (box opened once), I’d be happy to post it out to you no charge.

Eg if I pull up to my garage can it open itself up or do I need to “hey siri” all the time?

I liked this garage door opener. However, I am little annoyed with the connection dropouts. Anyone got any proper fix that worked for them?
