  A bonus 10% is equivalent to a 9.09% discount. You just need to get Myer to price match something from a more reasonably priced retailer.

  Also because it's asked in almost every Myer gift card thread, it is incredibly unwise to buy these in the hopes of converting them to a Coles Myer gift card for spending at other retailers.

  While the Myer POS is capable of processing a Myer gift card to purchase a Coles Myer gift card, staff are trained not to allow this transaction to take place. On the Myer POS staff have to specifically select Myer gift card as the payment method so there's not really a way to sneak it past the staff either.

          @capslock janitor: The Myer checkout system should let you do that, but I really doubt a Myer staff member would let you do that.

          Trying to do this is against the terms and conditions of Myer gift cards, so Myer staff have the right to stop you from doing this (as someone else in this deal post has already pointed out (and I will point out that you already replied to that comment…).

    Indeed. If you’re not in a hurry to shop at Myer, you might be better off waiting to see what the 19 July Coles promotion will be because if the last two years are anything to go by, it’ll likely be on Myer gift cards:
