It's always been capped per member, hasn't it? You can't do 10 transactions and get 22% cashback.
It's always been $25 cap, per member.
You’re confusing it with Cashrewards, which has always been capped per member.
The last confirmed capped per transaction was here
@Adelv no it hasn't been Capped per member. You could previously do as many transactions as you wanted. A very strong plus for shopback. Hoping this isn't the new norm
@Chocobros: Are you sure??
As far as I've always been aware, you can only do one transaction, otherwise I would do 15 transactions per cashback!
It's never been clear, and I literally use cashback for BWS only these days.
Are you saying I could do 10 transactions capped at that $25 a transaction??
Therefore 10 orders, and have 25% cashback for every order?
@[Deactivated]: I can confirm it was per transaction in the past. Last time I did multiple seperate orders that all paid out the cap each time.
@kuwahshi: Wow, I never knew that.
How come it was never clear? I thought you could do as many transactions as you want it but the total cap was $25
I didn't realize I could do 10 small transactions and get $250 in cash back
God
I have never seen this outlined with any cashback, pretty disappointed
@[Deactivated]: @Adelv yh 100% sure. That was one of the reasons I started using shopback more than other cashback providers.
Keep your eyes peeled as future offerings may be back to Capped per transaction again
@Chocobros: Honestly, I've never even noticed that, or it's never been clear.
I do wish reps were a lot clearer about that in particular.
I always thought it was capped at that maximum amount no matter how many transactions you did.
I can't believe how much money of lost out on LOL
Is this just BWS, or do they do it with first choice aswell?
Unfortunately there isn't much to buy near me at the moment lol
@[Deactivated]: AFAIK currently only Menulog, Pizza Hut and the Myer (Westpac bonus) are the only ones that show capped per member
@BargainsGrabber: I never knew that, I didn't realise I could just do multiple transactions
Wonder why it's just not uncapped? Makes no sense, or try to stop the top end booze etc
I still don't understand how to tell the difference that it's kept to a single transaction or capped to a member?
@[Deactivated]: Unless it’s stated, we can always assume it’s capped per transaction
@BargainsGrabber: I swear multiple times I would see people ask and I saw reps mention that you can do three transactions but the cap will be 25 or whatever the cap dollar is.
I've literally never seen this mention before on any post where you can do unlimited transactions and maximize the cap on every single transaction
I don't know honestly haha
not as good as the 40%
agreed
you mean not tracked 40% ?
100% would be better
I'm waiting for the 110% cashback before I bite.
It says Non Alcoholic Drinks excluded, do they mean soft drinks and mixers or does that also include the zero beers like Peroni Heneken & Asahi
Beware of price changes on checkout.
Had the Glenfiddich 15 in my cart and price changed from 100.30 to 122 when I input my address.
Thats a per store price
Is it just me or is the site struggling?
Same here. Tried the past hour and could'nt get in.
Same. Loads direct but not via the shop back link…
I don't have any problem opening BWS from ShopBack and navigating through it, until I get to checking out to pay. At which point it throws a page not found error.
Oh well. Maybe the internet is trying to tell me something about my alcohol consumption… ha.
Can anyone confirm this is capped per transaction, or member? I can't see anything.
anyone able to get through to site through Shopback app?
Website isn't working ATM, high traffic
Still "high traffic".
Do we think it's legit, or are they getting DDoS'd?
Does seem a bit suss now. How can a rather large (Australian) website not allow anyone to buy when there's only a 22% 'saving'?
@MonkDog: And viewing outside shop back ecosystem works fine…
It seems to work through the Shopback app, but not the website itself
Wow you're right… it'd have been nice to know this before the 22% cashback deal expired!
Site is dead
Damn, got carried away while website down and saw25% off first choice… Thought to myself, that will do, got $100 worth of wine.. should have read small print, hahn beer only…
I got caught out by that too, pinged First Choice on live chat and they cancelled and refunded the order for me.
Oh nice one I'll do same. Haven't picked up yet. Thanks mate
Where does it say on ShopBack that’s capped per member apart from what OP is guessing? I’ve posted lots of ShopBack deals and unless it’s stated, it’s usually capped per transaction
