  • Are you sure this is a new one and not just continuation of the old promo, and hence a dupe?

    • +1

Same promo, except last post was set to expire at the end of June, and I'm locked out from editing the deal. Mods will have to allow this post as a result of the 1 month rule.

  • +6

Also includes Australia Post this month

    • Correct, was updating post as you commented

      • +2

2 days before the prices increase by 9%

        • :((

        • +4

I would rather that than using Sendle any day, speaking from experiences.

          • +1

@Buy2Much: Sendle has been flawless for me, pick up as scheduled and delivery were all fine except for one to an apartment. Was skeptical at first but it does save quite a lot of money compared to AP (on band 0 and 1 that is)

            • +1

@alo1234: Depends on who your local agent is. When I was in QLD and it was Couriers Please the service was fantastic. Now I’m in TAS and it’s Aramex the service is just absurd - for example, I’ve had a parcel packed and waiting at my office in Launceston CBD since Thursday and it still hasn’t been picked up. When it does get picked up (eventually) I can almost guarantee it’ll take 5 days to get to the mainland. I’d rather pay the premium for Post because I know the parcels will arrive sometime this century.

For the live of god dont use Sendle!! They are horrific 🤮

    • Absolutely. Use AusPost where possible. I had two consecutive bad experiences sending parcels out with Sendle. Just not worth it. First no courier picked up parcel from the drop off hub for over 4 weeks! Second, my parcel containing precious item got crushed along the way despite being well packed.

    • +1

I love Sendle! I've been using them for about two years now, and they're amazing. Never had a single problem with them, and their staff went above and beyond to help me with an idiot receiver who moved and a dodgy courier who overcharged (overmeasured/weighed) my parcel. Absolutely recommend them to everyone.

  • Some of these comments are scaring me. I chose Sendle for a monitor I just sold on eBay…..

    • +6

I use Sendle all the time. Never had a problem.

      • Fingers crossed.

  • I've used Sendle before, didn't have issues with it. But I've never used it to sell on ebay, is it the same thing? You list something for sale on eBay and Sendle come and pick it up to deliver to eBay buyer? is there a catch? as most companies go direct with AusPost, I'm assuming the fees are a little higher?

    • I had the option to use a drop off point or a pickup. Can’t remember if there was a price difference. I chose drop off. Presumably some sort of extra fee for pickup.

      • +1

No extra fee for pickup. Took 3 days from Adl to Melb.

        • That’s a pretty good deal. I’ll have to try that next time for big parcels.

  • +3

I sold 10 items on eBay using sendle last month , I dropped them at their agent a newsagent, had no problems were all delivered 2 to 5 days cost $6 each , was so easy after each item sold eBay sends the label and provides and updates tracking for buyer and seller

    • You can choose to have them picked up instead of you having to leave your house. There is no extra fee or anything, just pick the different radio button when buying your label.

  • +1

I use Sendle all the time and haven’t had any issues so far. Also I believe Sendle pro covers up to $300 of the parcel content while Aus Post covers $100 if I’m correct.

  • Poor buyers.

Does anyone else read this as someone at eBay having a pair of Jordan 4s for sale. How specific of an offer is that.

    • They're up to Jordan 35, so that is extremely specific. I would hazard a guess that it's a wasted promo for 99.999999% of sellers.

  • +1

I sold my Pixel phone on eBay earlier in June. I took advantage of the Sendle promotion. It cost $11 (50% off) to send from NSW to SA with the insurance only covering up to $100 of the item if lost by Sendle. I took it to a collection point (local pharmacy in a suburb 8 km from Sydney CBD). The courier never came to pick it up after 7 days. I went back at retrieved the package I'd attempted to send with Sendle. Had them cancel the label and printed an AusPost label with full insurance up to the sale price of the phone and the label cost $14 (no promotion). It arrived within 4 business days from NSW to SA.

    • That's very strange. They have an automated system which re-orders a pickup if it misses the first day, and then if the second day is missed, a priority pickup is specifically locked in on the third day. I've never had to do anything, and their system kept me updated. Very strange with what happened to you… Oh, for drop-off, I prefer to use 24 hour BP stations (but I usually only schedule pick ups)

  • Doesn’t show Auspost when I click on the promo? Only Sendle?

  • +4

Just be beware to have video evidence if you opt for Sendle pick up. The courier picked up my parcel but didn't registered it and lost it. They claim insurance payout is only for registered parcel unless i have video to prove it was picked up.

    • I've had no issues using Sendle on my many orders(hopefully this continues).
      But thanks for the tip.
      Question -
Process for Pick-ups is to leave at the front door between 8am-6pm. So if you're unlucky for parcel not-registrated, the only way to provide video evidence of pick-up is if you have installed a security camera?

      • I am definitely at home for them to pick up.

    • Same thing happen to me.

    • Yes, video evidence is a must if you choose pickup via Sendle or any claim for a lost item may be rejected. I learnt the hard way unfortunately when my parcel was never scanned on pickup and it magically disappeared once I handed it directly to the courier

An ebay support member assured me $0 variable fees would be back in July, but not holding my breath….

    • +2

It better be. The only reason I'm signed up for ebay plus on multiple accounts.

  • Any fvf?

    • Not atm :(

      • Fingers crossed..

    • I've got 50% off variable fees on trading cards listings until 14th July 🤙

    Sendle, Couriers Please :usually fine
    Sendle, Aramax : horrific.

      100% agreed

whenever saw Aramex after booked sendle, I cancelled straight away then sent by post.

      • +1

I do this too. Sadly it wastes one of the promo slots but I'd take that as a win.

  • I have a question am I still eligible for the 0 fvf for the listing I created last month if I sold it this month?

    • +2

Cancel and relist it with the ‘Sell Similar Item’ option. This will preserve all the listing details but generate a unique item number. Don’t select ‘Relist Item’ or it may not register as a July sale.

    • Has always worked for stuff ive sold so far. Should be fine until the listing expires. Some people say its hasnt worked for them tho.

    • You need to check for the expired deals under your seller dashboard / account. If it shows that there is one for up to June 30, then you are still covered.

I am in a situation that when I listed the item, that offer was there, but after 1st of July, it disappears. feeBay Support is now indicating there is no proof that I accepted it. Didn't capture the screenshot and now feeBay is saying all they can see is the May one (up to June 1).

The July FVF waiver deal is not active yet I think so cancel and re-list is dangerous.

      • Have you tried clicking on expired offers option at the bottom of where all your active seller promos appear. It should show up there.

        • Well, it was an active offer on June 30 so I listed the item. Then on July 1, it disappeared from active offer and did not show up as an expired offer. I did renew my eBay Plus this month. I did chat to eBay CSR and they credited it back.

          • @netsurfer: Ah ok might have been a glitch or something because your recently expired offers should show up there once the promo period is finished.

            • @dins: Yeah, I am going to screenshot the July FVF waiver offer (hoping there will be one soon).

I just sold an item today that I listed on 20/06 and the promotion still applied

  • Interestingly, for the item I need to post (<=500g), to WA, after the 50% discount, AusPost is cheaper (by $1.10). Once it is set to 1Kg, then Sendle is a bit cheaper (by $0.77). Have to use custom packaging. For some reason, AusPost standard packaging doesn't get the 50% off discount (perhaps those allow up to 5Kg).

This is before the upcoming price change of course.

    • Strange - message Sendle, they guarantee being cheaper than AusPost, so they might do something for you (next time).

  • +3

Just received an email from ebay with the 3 x 0% variable fee link

    • Legend. Link worked.

  • I sold something that ended up being $62 for postage, Sendle saved me $30 + the $20 voucher - Instantly paid for itself!

The 50% 3 a month is a good system, encourages me to sell shit that sits around the house - Yes eBay fees are high, but I would just bin items rather then bother with all the scammers and time wasting tosspots on Gumtree/Facebook
