        i never keep this in the fridge, too cold for hot food.

          I keep in a smaller squeeze bottle, but i just use it cold. sometimes it incidentally gets left out long enough to get to room temp.

        No, there's so many preservatives (salt & sugar). I'm in Qld and we keep our 4l one in the pantry. It'll be open for ~3mths.
