  • Just the power station.. doesn’t come with the solar panels right? Mhh …

  • +2

Looks good. Similar to the Jackery 240, but better cells

  • I like how they quote the charge cycle life when charged to 80%

I've never found a charger that will do this sadly.

    • +9

That's not what that spec means, its stating that after 2500 cycles it will still provide 80% or more of the original battery power it had when new.

      • Is that what it's saying though or is it referring to getting 2500+ cycles when it's depleted to say no more than 80% DOD each time? I could be wrong, but I wouldn't have thought the lithium iron batteries would be affected the same way as to what SLA's are in this regard.
The description doesn't seem to be too clear on this as its also not mentioning a guaranteed capacity of 80% after 2500+ cycles either.

  • Can this be use as an UPS and backup for NVR security cameras and modern?

    • +3

Yes, it has a UPS mode. A big HOWEVER, it does not offer the millisecond performance of a true UPS, so it may not work, depending on what your equipment does with a short gap in power supply.

    • Bluetti state that it can be used as a UPS. Just check that it has inline power

      • +4

Please ser, these are not comparable products.

        Sealed acid batteries, 7aH @ 12V.

These will run a computer for about 5 mins before going flat.

It's $80 because its not worth anymore then that.

        • +1

Yeah I totally agreed. They just don't last long enough and the batteries cells are crap on these $80 ups

          • @mt2000: You can lead a horse to water…

    • Nah, too expensive, use it with solar panels when camping.

  • +2

Can get the same model for less ($356), using the same code SEOFY20

      Great pickup, deal updated

    • No. Inverter is rated at half the power (300W continuous) of this deal, and given it's being sold by edisons I can tell you that the battery capacity will be nowhere near the claimed 307Wh.

      • Thank you! Want to buy 1 of this power station. Been learning and researching for the past hour. Seems that bluetti is consistently at $449-499

I also looked at brand Jackery, seems the inverter and battery capacity outperforms bluetti if I've done my research right? Bluetti only have more battery cycle..

I'm not sure what to buy now..

        • The best bang for buck is to DIY it's very easy to do and a fun project.
Plenty of videos on Youtube to show you how.
You will get twice the specs for the same price as the best deal on ebay.

          • @iratepirate: Haha.. I'll have a look but I believe it will be too difficult for me.. lol

          • @iratepirate: Got any good videos to start on?

It's basically just getting a lithium battery, inverter, solar charger and panels hey? And putting them on a trolley or something together so it can be moved around?

  • +1

Thanks, been on the fence about these for ages and ~350 is a good price, it doesn't have the jump start feature that others have, but in honesty ive only jumpstarted / supplied power to 1 car in ~20 years so no biggy

  • How can I get this price? My ebay plus could only get $389

    • Bluetti jacked the price, deal expired

  • These look great - could probably start my chest freezer at home if we had a power outage. But wouldn't run it for long given the small battery

    • +1

You'd be surprised, the fridges I've tested run about 200W, and once they're at temperature a chest freezer uses bugger all to keep ticking over

  • What are people using this for? If its to charge a laptop, you can use 12V battery or even a USB-C powerbank.
For other things such as a fridge, the amps and capacity is too low to be much use.

    • Camping could be useful. Limited lighting, charge various things. Solar panels to charge it.

I'm also surprised how popular these are, though. Cost rapidly scales with capacity.

Also for SHTF scenarios, AKA Forced Camping.
