Bluetti 268Wh Portable Power Station (AC 600W, 1200W Surge, 3x DC, USB-C 100W, 2x USB-A) $499 Delivered @ Bluetti

EB3A

On sale from $629 is this portable power station that's a good budget option if you're out camping or needing to power something on the go. While there's obviously more expensive ones with more battery capacity and AC outlets I still think this is a good price for a smaller version.

I personally use a similar one to top up my escooter after riding in my car and recharge the power station itself with solar. A lot more portable than an inverter.

268Wh converts to about 22Ah. These are really convenient but pretty low capacity.

Yes. You want higher be prepared to pay double.

      • Companion rover 40ah is around same price and almost double capacity but doesn’t have an inverter and less power. I’d pick rover over this for camping purposes. Have been using mine and cannot fault it.
Edit: you can get the Rover for ~ $450 using AFPAYDAY discount code on eBay

        • Without a pure sine wave inverter I'd be less trusting for some applications. Certainly for my use.

  • How does this compare with the "Cygnett 200W Power Station $244.30" deal posted earlier today? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/719840

    • AC output is 200W max while this is 600W. Depending on what you're trying to power it could overload. I know my escooter won't run off 200W.

  • Looking to be able to run my 500L refrigerator and heater in my freshwater fish tank during blackouts (let's assume a 24hr event). Will this suffice?

    • +8

      No chance

    • Fridge would use about 200W, not sure about the fish tank, but even if it’s about the same the battery wouldn’t last very long.

Water heater and full size fridge for 24 hours ? You'll basically need a Tesla Powerwall.

This has 0.26KWh - you're going to need many many times more. 20 of these might be somewhere in the ballpark.

What sort of solar capacity do you currently have on your house ?

    • You probably need an electric or phev with v2l for that one

    • My fridge pulls about 1kWh/day - marginally viable if you have some hefty solar keeping it topped up.

Adding the fish tank would be pushing it!

    • Store as many ice packs/bottles as you can in your freezer. When needed transfer some over to the fridge side, then avoid frequent opening. That should be enough.

    • generator like honda quiet is your best bet

  • Recently bought the EB150 1500Wh model with 1000W inverter when it was on special for $1299 and very impressed with it. It’s the same price now as part of this sale.

  • i just purchased the Bluetti EB70 1000W 716Wh and waiting for delivery i hope it last long enough for what i require. Paid $850 with the afterpay ebay coupon.

    • What would you use it for?

    • I was just about to get one with the Afterpay sale too - they get a good review
