you can still get the skin: unselect the 2 batteries, select blue and then select without battteries

    are these things any good?

    • I know a couple who have 1 each and garden with them all the time, they have had them 2 yrs, but who knows, crap is crap!

  • Got one, have a bit of light pruning to do while I wait for carby kit for extension chainsaw.

  • What I find strange about reviews system at bang good in general is
Number of posts said in variety of colorful ways
I received the tool but no batteries no charger: a non usable thing without batteries.

But they still leave 4 and 5 stars when they are pissed off.

  • Last few Banggood orders Aramex have refused to deliver due to the declaration being incomplete It's a freaking nightmare to sort out. Both are very painful to deal with.

  • Ok so I got mine earlier this week and assembled it. The guard was a bit tricky but worked it out eventually.

First use it's flashing/sparking for a fraction of a second inside the motor when I pull the trigger and start it up (using a 5mah makita battery). I have a video on my phone but not sure if or where to post it. Can anyone else who's got one of these recently confirm if this is normal? Should I try to return it or bin it? Should I try a smaller or buy a cheaper/shitty battery for it? I'm hoping it's just a break-in wear kind of thing and will go away once it has been used a couple of times. Haven't been game to use it in anger yet.

I think that's the brushed motor which is normal, mine does that too (I bought another cheapie pruning chainsaw)
