Seiko Prospex SUT405P Solar Mini Tuna Divers Watch 38.7mm No Date $399 ($20 off with sign-up) Delivered @ Watch Depot

181

I have this one: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/762175 and paid over $400. This one for $380 is good value and I don't really see it getting lower because not many retailers carry these two models. I prefer my colourway, but this one is nice too.

The only Seiko Prospex with no date afaik, which I prefer because I don't like setting the date. Also solar for convenience.

Kinda want to buy but already have 5 watches for TRS. Then I gotta bring them back with all the watches I buy in HK, SG and JP. I also bought a couple of Wolf cases that cost as much as a watch.

I think I'll get get the stores to just ship them back if under $1k. The $1k+ ones I'll be rocking 3 on both wrists

Nice, Just got the JDM and have the Padi as you know.
    Those straps look nice though.

    • Yep these straps are a lot nicer than the regular Tuna straps. And no date is is a plus, as we've discussed.

      • Yes it's not necessary if you are near a phone and computer but I don't mind it. Good thing is with quartz it's never too off.

Use code EOFY2023 at Watchdirect to get the bigger one for $381.65 (15% off)!

    • Thanks, that's better than the 10% off first purchase. will edit

  • this company took GST but did not register with ATO after my claim was rejected by TRS. They said it was invalid ABN (bought via Lasoo)

    • Which company, watch depot? I got something 08/22 and they had the ABN number 39 612 970 486
      https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View?id=39612970486

Maybe owner by someone else (Shiels etc), search on abnlookup. Some of the pricing of pretty sharp, wouldn't be surprised if grey imports. Either way should ask for the GST back then.

      • Def not greys. You'll get an e-Guarantee from Seiko for the tuna you bought from Shiels.

I received the STO chrono I showed you last week; got the e-Gaurantee before I got the watch

      • This is their ABN 58 007 927 933 that was included in the invoice. It was an invalid ABN therefore my claim was rejected. I have contact Lasoo to see what they can do

Watch Depot and Shiels are owned by Transworld, I think Graham's is too. They are legit authorised dealers, and Seiko sends you an e-Gaurantee shortly after the purchase.

This has been my experience after buying over 20 watches from Shiels and Watch Depot.

I'm going overseas soon, so I'll look into the ABN issue. Thanks for the heads up
