    It was a while ago but they have matched Mitre !0 in the past. They matched a Rockwell cordless deal. But I dont think they have anything that directly competes with these deals from Costco.

I'd want to 100% certain that batteries will be available in the future. Ditto support, spares etc

Greenworks are not a big brand in Australia (yet) although I accept they're much bigger in the US etc.

Time will tell if this changes and then the early adopters can look smug or otherwise…

  And they have reputation of having proprietary circuit in their battery/tool to prevent you from using third party batteries.
