I had this model and it lasted for about 6 years. It's obviously not as powerful as dyson v10 and later. But it might be useful for those with not much carpet, or those that like to use this in between a 'deep' vacuum clean. Probably really good if good guys have a decent replacement warranty scheme (not sure about this) for people concerned about the battery dying
Yes the battery degraded significantly after I bought it 6 years ago - one charge could hold only 15 min.
Replacing the battery is possible but not easy, and will involve welding/soldering.
It was priced reasonably ($3xx back then) and it's even better priced now, but with the Chinese made xiaomi vacuum cleaners which have replacement batteries, I am not sure…
Replacing the battery is not possible for an average OzBargainer - welding directly to a lithium battery is not for the feint hearted.
Don't buy this - after a period of time, the battery degrades significantly.
And knowing that batteries are a consumable, Bosch have designed it to be completely non-replaceable 🤦
