YouTube is currently working on blocking adblock similar to many other websites. So party's over once that kicks in
To be fair youtube been at it from stopping ad blockers from the get go.
So expect more cat and mouse game from either side.
Don't do it, I swear I see twice the amount of ads on my account that has done the free trial and ended it over my account which has never had yt premium.
Seems once you've had it, they spam you with ads in the hopes you will go back to the ad free bliss.Funny you say that. I get the pop up to try free for a month on every device I use YouTube on and each time I hit no thanks, I swear it gives me twice as many ads than it did before just to annoy me into accepting the free trial.
Yeah this is nothing new.
Youtube has been bugging me for several months to give this "Premium" a go always offering me constant trials.
Sometimes they try and offer me 2 months for free and a few rare times 3 months but I'm never investing into it.
… Now they are using EOFY as a new strategy to get users sucked in? lol
