    Misleading 4k title

Except it does not "native 1080p resolution with upscaling up to 4K", it is an oxymoron to have a native 1080p resolution and upscale to 4K.
Best description would be to state 1080p native, with 4K input support. This is a 1080p projector.

      They're posted all the time including you. 2880 x 2160P is not 4K ;)

      • Hahhaha… nice catch.

That is a bit hard to said, like 21:9, 2560×1080 we call it 1080p.

        4:3 2880x2160 can we call it 4k?

But native 1920x1080 surely not 4k.

        • It's covered pretty well by Wikipedia that 2880 x 2160 is not 4K. Rather 3840 x 2160 would be. So in other words that dashcam is not true 4K and simply interpolated or upscaled.

I've since corrected my title and description anyway.

@Clear: No worry, not saying you are wrong just discussion.

  • I wondered about autofocus and whether the mechanism that focuses could potentially stop working and then you'd have no way to focus again. I suppose it's like anything that's automated…always the risk of it not working as intended.

  • Have these shipped yet. It's been almost a month since this was posted.

    • Mine shipped out late last week.

      • Let us know what you think of the projector once you get it.
