The 7-in-1 is also on discount ($27.52) after 40% coupon
I prefer the 7-in-1 as it has a HDMI / VGA output and it can hide the cable when not in use
Great to use for travel with MacBook Air M1 / M2

Ah it looked good at first but I'm after one with 2 HDMI out if possible.

    • What a shame it only does 4k at 30Hz :( . Just upgraded my monitor and my current hub with hdmi output doesn't go up to 60hz, and it's been a struggle to work with it

  • Can I confirm to use it for charging (ie not data) that you have to "reverse" the connection ie plug the built in USB-C lead into your USB-C laptop, and then (I assume this is the actual benefit vs simply plugging your USB-C cable directly from your charger into your laptop) use the USB-A slots for charging say, your phone?

I've got the larger version of this but assume this works the same way, and this is what Wavlink told me when I asked how to use the PD slot. There was a bit of a language barrier even though they were very responsive.

ie for those with these hubs, have you been able to charge various devices (USB-A or USB-C) and how do you set it up?

  • Thanks op got the 6 in 1 was looking for one last night (:

  • The 2 that I have, they make the wifi on my Mac go crazy, wrapping them in foil partially helps.

  • How do you use this with older macbooks? Adapter?

Pretty hard to fault at this price, but I did buy a Wavlink hub similar to this a couple months ago and everything "worked", but it caused some crazy delays and issues with my Dell work laptop. Every time I tried to make a Teams call it would just spin for about 5 mins then fail. Took me ages to work out that the hub was the cause. There was no firmware updates for the model I had and updating chipset drivers didn't help. After going back to my no-brand USB C hub the issues went away.

  • If I have a USB-C Hub with PD Charging Port and no mention of W, what W is it?
