    This looks good, thanks OP!

Also FYI MINISFORUM Store 3rd Anniv. Celebration has some decent discounts: https://store.minisforum.com/pages/store-3rd-annual-celebrat…

So they say up the top "up to $700 off" and yet I don't see anything remotely resembling that sort of discount.

  • Very nice device and great price. But I’m waiting for the 7735hs to drop. 680m igpu is quite impressive.

I picked up one of those for around 900 a couple of months ago. It's a cracking little unit. The CPU rips!
GPU runs about 85 degrees when gaming, so it blows out a bit of hot air. Packs a reasonable graphics punch, but obvs never gonna come close to a full-sized card.

      • Im jealous! That’s a decent price

Will the onboard graphics decode HEVC and output 4k HDR10?

  • Anyone used one of these or similar for a home lab? I'd like something with a small footprint and low idle power, maybe Unraid, Plex, Proxmox etc etc.

    • It's just a tiny computer, loads of people using stuff like this. If this is 16 thread, this is huge overkill for light usage. How would you use it with Unraid as it doesn't have capacity for internal storage?

Wouldn't be suitable for any of the enthusiast firewall apps as it only as a single NIC. Not that you'd want to use this as a router anyway (too much processing power, and virtualising a router is a very iffy idea).

I have had their i5 unit for about 24 months now and no issues. I left windows on there and run docker containers for services.

It's ok for actual use with office docs and browsing, the memory and hd are upgradable(not sure on this advertised unit though).

For Plex the i5 struggles pushing 4k to more than one device but for basic use it's more than adequate.

It also uses around 25w with average usage so it isn't too power demanding, obviously this Ryzen will differ.

    • Second this, does anyone know the idle power draw? Finding it hard to beat a M1 Mac Mini running 8w idle

  • Anyone here have any version of these? Are they quiet?

    • I have 5 of this exact one. They are very quiet and does blow out some heat at the back when in action.
Powerful unit that can handle most of your average tasks with ease.

      • 5… In your house or workplace?

When u watch 4k streaming is it silent?

        • Workplace

I tried watching 4k vids on YouTube few days ago and some parts were framey but did generally well.

Yep, fan was on full speed I think

Same GPU (Vega 8) as in the 5700G or Ryzen 5750G.

  • looks good but a laptop 3050 ti is still significantly faster than this' iGPU right?

  • This or a refurbished Optiplex 7070 i5 9500 from ebay?

Nice deal, but the link takes me to a slightly cheaper model for $483 with a Ryzen 5500U in it? Whats going on
