  Hi all,
  I am moving to a unit of full carpet, was thinking of getting the famous miele c3 as per many recommendations here, but I prefer hand-held ones actually, so would this (or v10) be somewhere near the miele's performance? Or shall i just stick to the corded option

    Corded vs cordless power really doesn't compare, nor does the longevity of the product. If you have pets or a large home this commercial vacuum for $412 is pretty similar in price to the Miele but has a large bag capacity (don't have to change it out much), wheels around more easily, is quieter and has more suction. Just passing along what I was told by a vacuum specialist :)

    C3 is better than dyson v8 (using both) in power and what is can pull up from the carpet.

    V15 suction power at max was better than C3 when i trialled the V15 out.

    So I would say V10 would be able to do the job especially if you don't have pets

    I have the v11 and had the miele c3 cat and dog
    I sold my miele and kept the dyson as it was more than capable of doing the cleaning i needed and more practical. The Miele did have more suction, but thats expected being such a great model. i just found myself attending to cleaning more frequently with a dyson stick as its more convenient.

  Thanks for the deal. Mine arrived. Amazing device. Never had anything that could get under the tiny gap below my couch before. That's a huge help. Great buy at $399. Never even considered the obscene retail prices.
