    Nice machine!
I can’t wait to see what the NUC 14 is like when ARC integrated GPU comes into it. (AI/ML not gaming).

  • damn bought the 11th i3 not long ago at $450

  • what is the benefit of this over Dell USFF optiplex?

    • Purely price at this point really, The current gen dell is more expensive but its also has a better cpu and comes with ram & hdd.
RRP on a Dell Optiplex Micro 7010 $1200 - However you can get these cheaper if your workplace uses Dell and you can bribe your IT to get you a staff rate, Which at times can be a few hundred cheaper.

This is a good price for somebody who has hdd, ram spare.

    • Yeah mostly price(and form factor of you care about that).
Generally, for enthusiasts, if you buy fully spec'ed Dell unit, eg 64GB and 4TB storage, price will be very expensive.
You could buy with less RAM/Storage(eg:256gb/16gb) and DIY upgrade, but then you waste some money when buying that, which you will replace.
So, more flexibility for spec I say, plus these are actually rated for 24/7 operations with 3 years warranty(not that Optiolex will have problem running 24/7 though).
I think Optiolex are still doing 1Gbps NIC.
