I know this deal isn't going to be for everybody due to Myprotein's past reviews.

But never the less, still a fantastic deal as protein prices are getting even higher.
Due to it only being 506g even if it's short dated I should still be able to use it up easily

This flavor is meant to be pretty good so I gave it a go.

works out to be around $24 a kg

Multiple bad experiences with this company with incomplete orders and their inability to correctly process a refund for products they failed to send. At your own risk.

Warning appreciated, this and the caveat in the OP has stopped me ordering.

I've ordered from them once and didn't have any issues

Ingredients: Whey Protein Hydrolysate (Milk) (92%), Acid (Citric Acid), Natural Flavouring, Acidity Regulator (Phosphoric Acid), Sweetener (Sucralose), Anti-Foaming Agents (Dimethyl Polysiloxane, Silicon Dioxide)

Why do people pay to drink this shit? The acidity would destroy the milk proteins, sucralose destroy your oral and gut bacteria and those silicone compounds are unnecessary.

Whereas the hydrochloric acid in your stomach…does what, preserve them? Do you have some sort of magical protease-free stomach that doesn't break all protein down into its composite aminos so you can actually digest them?

      • +1

There's a difference between eating pre-denatured proteins and having that happen inside your digestive system, sure it won't kill you but you're not going to get optimal nutrition eating something where half the proteins are destroyed.

        • Explain how the "half the proteins are destroyed"

Explain how this happens in the time it takes to dissolve the product in water and swallow it

Explain how this is different to what happens in the stomach

          • @GrueHunter: Holy is actually right, It doesnt mean you dont get the amino acid benefit out of it still and the lower calorie benefit. So this is good for people who want pure protein / amino acids being delivered to their system quickly and efficiently and who cant tolerate Whey protein in its more traditional formats (WPC).

BUT Whey protein has fractions, and WPC has the most / least denatured compared to WPI and HWPI (What this is). The processing methods for WPI and HWPI actually end up denaturing the proteins so the fractions you get are less or denatured somewhat. Not that you still dont get them just not to the same level or quality.

So for people who can tolerate dairy / WPC fine and who dont care about the small amount of extra calories in WPC, then WPC is actually better for them but also if they arent as fussed about how quickly it absorbs (really not that big an issue for most people except perhaps professional athletes who are on strict diets and timings).

  • Nice discount code, thanks for sharing OP

  • Have ordered many times from myprotein (at least 6 times in the last few years) and other family members also. Have never had any issues with delivery speed or length of expiry dates on products. YMMV but just wanted to give my feedback since every myprotein post seems to cop a lot of bad feedback. I’ll update my comments on future posts if i ever have a bad experience with them but so far it’s been worth it as they often have 45%+ off codes and work out the cheapest protein per kg

  • This code no longer gives the 42% off.

  • Use MARINOVIP to get more discount. I found this online
