I was shocked at the price increase over the last few years since I last purchased protein powder.
Seems that this is actually a deal now.
Flavours seem to have different listings, I found Double Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream

Gold standard delivers more protein in a smaller scoop
Takes longer to digest, potentially more GI side effects. Gains should be similar if used regularly.
Garbage product with "creamer", 21% carbs, etc.
By and large, the more protein per serving means the less additives/filler
Not the best but good bargain.
Thanks! Better and cheaper
What's the difference between Gold Standard Whey and Performance Isolate?
TLDR Isolate is lower in calories.
Gold Standard blends in some concentrate too
Hello, I would like to overspend on protes
not sure why people would buy this when you can get 100% WPI (inc brand) from chemist warehouse for $68 for 2kg tub
Can you share which 100% whey protein isolate you are referring to?
If you're not watching your carbs or it fits your macros, skim milk powder might be a cheaper alternative.
Does skim milk powder have the same bioavailability and amino acid profile as whey?
WPC has marginally better digestibility.

WPC:
DIAAS: 1.07 (high quality)
PDCAAS: 1.0
Skim milk:
DIAAS: 1.05 (high quality)
PDCAAS: 1.0
Not enough to make up for the price difference if the carb content fits your macros. I tend to do a mix pre and post workout.
