A cheaper and good alternative to those who missed out on the Miele vacuum.
Comes with 2 different heads (no bristles for hard floors and bristle for carpet) and small 3 in 1 head.
Uses the 's-bags' which a few other brands use. Best place I've found to buy replacement bags is eBay 16 bags for $36.90
Product description on Electrolux website
Note that this model does not have the power controls on the handle which the Pure D9 Animal has.
I've had this vacuum for a year now and it's a great vacuum. Other than it's great performance it has a long cord length of 12m. Measured noise is 72 db at max power with hard floor attachment for those interested.
I spent some time at the Godfrey store comparing the Electrolux against the Miele and found that the big wheels on the Electrolux meant it required a lot less effort to pull along than the Miele. The Electrolux was effortless to pull along and just followed you as you vacuumed.
PS: According to Electrolux Site, this model is discontinued.
