lol the girl with food cracked me up.

  • There's also the LX which supports up to 11.3kg and is "only" $209 so consider your use case before buying

I use it on the AW3423DW and it's an awesome arm!

    • I agree, I have the HX on the same monitor as yours and its brilliant! Yes its more expensive than an amazon no brander, but its just "works"

Do we need to buy the pivot separately: Ergotron HX Heavy-Duty Tilt Pivot Black/White 98-540-216 https://amzn.asia/d/6WoCFrg
Or does it come with the vesa mount?

Edit: description does say come with pivot

    • If it says it comes with the pivot, it comes with the pivot.

      I bought 2 HD pivot ergotrons for my 2 x 49inch monitors.

I was debating these ones or Humanscale. However, these are fantastic. Nice and sturdy, and easy to move around.

  • You don't wanna buy this for flat panels as it has the HD Pivot. Maybe it'll be alright if the TV is 50"+ but with the LG C2 42", the mount will cause the TV to angle slightly upwards even at the lowest tension.

    • Doesn't seem to happen with everyone based on a response in your first link.

"Can you post an image of what you're talking about? I have my 42" C2 on the HX arm and have had no issues at all. I'm using a generic VESA plate adapter. "

The person posted an image of what they are experiencing.

      • I bought the one from CPL with HD pivot adapter but can't remember if I still have the standard mount in the box. HD pivot has no issue mounting my U4320q which is slightly heavier than LG C2 42".

  • I want to know if anyone has tried this in comparison to it https://ergox.com.au/products/ultrawide-single-monitor-arm-s…
Under $200 would be nice, the monitor was expensive enough.

Ergotron is THE OG premium monitor arm I'd say. You should get it if you can afford it. Can't find a single bad word about it, both hardware and customer service.

  • Got my 55” on this arm. Swings it out in front of my bed for tv, and back to the desk for work. Works ok but I will probably build a bracket to move it around and I don’t like pulling and pushing the pled panel directly.

  • Anyone have experience with other monitor arms like the one from desky?

I bought the Desky Heavy Duty for a 49" ultrawide as a cheap option.

It has issues with tilting down. Have not tired it with a monitor within its 43" spec limit, it might be fine in that use case.
