I feel the long sides are too short, not sure intentional or not.
Also the calibration part is so weird. Can barely see any of the dots
For those on the fence, have a 75” bought this kit and it fits great as well. Missed out on the coupon (even though checkout said -$15 then payment was full price 👎), but feel it’s still worth it as I’ve been looking for awhile.
As above, calibration is abit weird, but once setup is good. Google Home setup as well, all good.
Tldr; can recommend for 75” tv.
did you run it on all 4 sides or leave the bottom side out?
I ran it on all 4 sides, though the bottom side is blocked by the big base (lg cs 77). Don’t think 3 sides will look any better (if not much worse).
I have 77inch lg as well.
Since you're putting the led strips away from the edges, do you get enough light bleed over the sides? Im running it on three sides at the moment, and I agree, it's a bit weird as the synching is off.

Is this useless if your room has any light source?
Installed mine and looks pretty cool when all the lights are out but turn on a single lamp and half of the lights are permanently glowing orange or red. My screen is an OLED and not very reflective at all.
Is there more to the calibration that I have missed and isn't in the setup guide?

Yeah I thought maybe your camera placement was off or something and you could have a look as that guys is working quite well on a oled
Decent thread to see how they should look on a oled anyway. The guys room was quite well lit and was still effective
@bob98: Ah okay. Thanks for the post, yeah his room has some light sources but it still looks great. I may have to try recalibrating or something.
