    I’ve used tapo c310 and it’s been decent. Around $80ish on Amazon. The only gripe is it has too many false positive detections, could be because its IR leds are interfering with my PIR floodlight.
    The newer Tapo outdoor model supposedly has better reso and better night vision for ~150% of the price.

        Yep, I have tried a few times. Let me know if you find a way. I could connect it to Google, Alexa, Smart things but couldn't connect to Tuya.

    Don't think so. I mean there are cheapo 720p ip cameras on aliexpress that would do the same for less than $10 but you would be tied to a sketch app on your phone with unreliable performance. This on the other hand offers more which might come in handy in the future.

  Has anyone else had problems setting up the app?
  The unit itself was fine, arrived promptly and plugged in an AUS plug and lead we had left over from an old router. Went through the steps with the app twice and struck the same problem, which prompted the trouble shooting list.
  In the end I logged out of the app, logged back in and it worked fine. All a bit odd
