Browsing through Dyson site, saw that the V8 is on special. This is the V8 Extra, not too sure if it is the 2022 model

Miele triflex hx1 pro was a better deal at $530
Yes, it's the 2022 model with anti-tangle head
This doesn't include the anti-tangle head.Refer to comment reply.
"Motorbarâ„¢ cleaner head with hair removal vanes automatically clears wrapped hair from the brush bar."
Are they different?I was referring to the Hair Screw Tool, but you might be right that it could be the 2022 model as it has the 'Motorbar Cleaner head'.
Maybe @Anthropomorphised can confirm.
@RichardL: I'm looking at the V11 which has both Motorbar cleaner head & hair screw tool. They seem to be the same thing, with the latter just being smaller (happy to be corrected here). This V8 only has the Motorbar cleaner head.
@Hinee: My comparison is just between the V8 Models (mainly the difference in head attachments). The Motorhead Cleaner Bar from this deal and the V11 should be the same. The Hair Screw Tool from the V8 2022 and the V11 should also be the same.
If you're comparing between the V8 and V11, then the V11 is an 'upgrade' over the V8. Refer to the comparison from the Dyson Employee
@RichardL: My comparison is just between the head attachments of these models, which seems to show that the V8 includes the anti-tangle head.
@Hinee: I made a correction to the above comment.
If I recalled correctly, the 2022 update for the V8 Range was changing the Main Head from Torque Drive to Motorbar AND replacing the 'Mini Motorised Tool' with 'Hair Screw Tool'.
It seems that the V8 Extra has the new 'Motorbar Cleaner Head' but still has the old 'Mini Motorised Tool'.
@RichardL: Is that your way to say "sorry"? I'll take that apology then.
Yes, Motorbar Cleaner head is the one that has the anti-tangle thing, so the hair doesn't get stuck. The Hair Screw Tool is for your pets, and it's not included in this promo.
Having different SKU means machine are getting "upgraded" but if you're fuzzy about that, then you can stick with the first V8 generation with a slower motor and old attachments :D@ExeGNR: My mistake, I thought you meant the 'Hair Screw Tool' and not the 'Motorbar Cleaner head'.
@RichardL: I believe you're right re the hair screw not being included. Some models include the Motorbar anti tangle floor head but the old mini motorised head such as the V8 Origin Plus. Same is true for this model.
Based on the accessory list, I don't think it the 2022 model.
2022 Model should have the 'Hair Screw Tool', whereas this still has the 'Mini Motorised Tool'.
EDIT: Possibly the 2022 model, as it has the updated 'Motorbar Cleaner head'…I hate the amount of SKU that Dyson has for their vacuums…
