        You can still use the voucher for AZ-104, but you need to do one of the other available training.

    I've never had any luck in actually getting any of these exam vouchers to work. Registered, sat through the training etc but they never send the codes :/

      I can confirm these work. Have done multiple times.
      They do say you need to ensure you have correct email in the Learn profile and that notifications must be ON in order for the email to be sent.

      It's a certificate for your resume that in theory is appealing to prospective employers as you're bettering yourself and seeking out learning (if it's applicable to your line of work).

    What's everyone's thoughts on Google vs aws vs Microsoft as a initial investment pathway?

    Considering career switch from banking to cloud SA.

      Microsoft is more for enterprise, as Microsoft already has a pretty good foothold in most organizations with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.

      AWS is more for startups, or web companies.

      GCP is more niche, but growing.

        Have you got any tips for Azure careers? I'm essentially Helpdesk at the moment with the occasional AD/Intune type stuff but nothing major. I'd like to work on getting certificates and moving more into the SOE/Azure space.

          Learn as much as you can! Employers love candidates who show a passion for knowledge. If you are heading towards the generalist space, go for AZ-900 (fundamentals), AZ-104 (administrator) and eventually AZ-305 (solution architect). There are also other paths you can take (ie. data analyst, dev, ai), you just need to pick what you want your path to be.

          Having a solid understanding of the tech that underpins computing is a big plus too. DNS, IP (subnetting, routing, etc), AD, could go on…

      basic understanding of 2 (A&A), learn 1 of them

      In Australia its AWS vs Azure … Google is to come in a future but for most organizations there is very little in Google to consider switching. Google likely to have limited demand for very specific use cases.

    Roughly how much time is required to complete a challenge? Particularly interested in DevOps and Cosmos DB challenges.

    But I have another course starting around the same time, so don't want to over commit.

          Yeah they’re pretty easy. The exams themselves can be reasonably hard though.

    Is there a way to get two exam vouchers? I can sign-up with two emails (personal and work) although I think I can't use my personal email for both exams as the voucher is linked I believe.
