Microsoft Build 2022 - Free Exam Voucher

A new Cloud Skills Challenge will be unleashed at the upcoming Microsoft Build. If you register, you'll have from May 24 - June 21, 2022 to complete this challenge to earn a free Microsoft Certification exam.

There are 8 challenges available to choose from, select one that's right for you. Once you complete that challenge you will earn a free Microsoft Certification exam that can be applied to your choice from a select list of options.

If you complete your challenge before the eligibility period ends, one Microsoft Certification exam will be associated with your Learn profile on June 30, 2022. You will be notified via email when it becomes available. To see the full list of eligible exams please refer to the official rules page for more details.

When do I receive my free Microsoft Certification exam?
If you complete one challenge before the Microsoft Build Cloud Skills Challenge ends, one Microsoft Certification exam will be associated with your Learn profile on June 30, 2022.
You will be notified via email when it becomes available.

How can I tell if I finished my challenge?
In the 'where you stand' section you will see a fraction that equals 100% (i.e. 8/8, or 5/5, or 12/12).

AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure
AZ-220: Microsoft Azure IoT Developer
AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions

MS-600: Building Applications and Solutions
PL-100: Microsoft Power Platform App Maker
PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
PL-300: Microsoft Power of BI Data Analyst
SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator

    I didn't check all the 11 select Microsoft exams, but the ones I did check cost $165 USD if you had to pay for them.

      I believe there was an option to get a free exam if you are being impacted by Covid.

          Yep, always a free course.
          I keep registering to attend it but then get swamped with work (often bogged down doing Azure stuff) and end up missibg attending.
          I don't know if there is a related exam for Azure Fundamentals! Maybe that's what @khey was asking.

    So does the challenge you select dictate which certification exam you can take? Or can you take any challenge and attempt any exam?
