  according to old news articles on tech websites, tizen watches like the active 2 are probably going to lose support soon if they haven't already as samsung stated tizen watches would be supported at least three years after release which has passed. even older models like the active 1 are probably unsupported already unless anyone has seen otherwise
  probably best to steer clear from 2016 models like the gear ones as those have probably been sitting in some corner of a warehouse for years

    Will it still function? Or does unsupported just mean that is no longer gets updates?

    for $73 it's cheap enough to try, but you have to have a galaxy as I don't think it work well with other android. This phone get scratch very easily, but good things you can make and receive call on it.

      I agree, I have Samsung Gear S3 Frontier which is runnng quite strong till today.
