Quartz uses one of those little button batteries to vibrate a quartz crystal. Accurate, but not very fun, and unless you know what you're getting you're likely buying something for $2 internals and a huge spacer.
Automatics are a type of mechanical movement. Mechanicals use a wound up spring and release the tension in a controlled manner to steadily beat the passage of time. Automatics include a rotor that spins around as you move/ walk and wind up the spring. Much more fun and there's a certain level of expertise implied with an automatic watch.

I have a similiar Tommy watch I got as a gift and wow is it shit. Two parts have already come off inside it and needed regluing, so buile quality is utterly poor. Even worse than the $100 fashion watches like MVMT etc.
Dont buy it. Even if the design is nice.

Tommy Hilfiger are a basic quartz fashion watches. For this kind of money or less you could buy an auto or solar from a reputable watch making brand like Seiko, Citizen, Bulova or Casio.
For example, 2 Bulova autos currently $219 delivered @ Starbuy. Also the Starbuy weekend sale will be on tomorrow @6pm. Might be best to wait & see what's on offer.
