  • +1

Is this 100-240v? Or need converter?

  • Had a look at the hd20, doesn't ship to aus (melb), for what that's worth

  • the addition of Optoma's 3D-XL converter box lets you unlock the 3D potential

So it is not ready for 3D at all? This is even worse than the lying scumbags the ACCC has been trying to stop here recently.

Razor-sharp text even in lit rooms(4000:1 contrast ratio)

This is another bald-faced lie. It is impossible for any projector in a lit room. Even 400:1 would need a dimly lit room.
There guys are worse than Chinese battery salesmen. The contrast specification of the projector is irrelevant in a lit room, as ambient light overwhelms the black level of the projector.

  • I bought this projector long ago from amazon. The picture quality is great for such a cheap projector, but there has been some problems throughout this model. Once u get into the hundreds of hours, artifacts start appearing. Supposedly the thermal compound dries out and it starts overheating. u might want to look into it.
