  • Not really a bargain. Costco usually has it on special for better price per 100g

I don't know if it is anymore. The S&S price may beat Costco.

      • Yes I have been finding the recent S&S prices of Kellogg's and Uncle Toby's cereals have been as good as, if not better than, Costco deals (at least here in Queensland)

I do check the prices when I'm in Costco and noticed that Amazon was cheaper for this particular product. I do feel a little guilty having cereal shipped across the country though…

Last one from Costco just about 4 weeks ago was about 60c per 100g

I dunno. I'm the biggest fans of both stores and the last time we checked Amazon was cheaper but my SO really wanted some and I remember talking to her about not really wanting to have cereal delivered to us. I ended up reluctantly buying a box even though it was more expensive. I don't know if it was this price or a different price but I remember Amazon being cheaper at the time.

            @ozbs25: $1.18c for 100g isn't cheap.

            • @asa79: The price has gone up.

Edit: Looking at the camels, it would have been when it was $5. I just did the maths. I'm really bad at maths so this may not be right.

It was $0.79c per 100g at Costco a few weeks ago. This was $0.78 per 100g if you did S&S and took the 5% discount into consideration.

              • @ozbs25: I still struggle to see 79c a bargain when Costco usually has it for around 60c

                • @asa79: Show me where it's 60c per 100g.

                  • @ozbs25: I'll post it up next time I see it

                    • @asa79: You don't have to. The coupon for last month is here.

Used to pay $4.25 805gram Nutri grain those were the days.

  • More sugar than protein.

    • But still more protein than pretty much any other cereal (if not all)

      • So have two eggs and 6 teaspoons of sugar.

        • yep, eggs and sugar is an excellent cereal, very quick and easy to prepare and eat

  • Box looks like a Gameboy game.

Ah 2019.. those were the days..
Just searched my old Amazon orders as I remember getting some pretty cheap. 1.2kg for $5.96 delivered.

    And Costco, well….

(Out of curiosity I clicked the link in the order email (I wish Amazon still listed the items you ordered like they used to) to see what it goes for now.. $24.95 S&S !!!)

Yeah, unfortunately quite a few things have gone up a lot at Costco. : (
