  • Can you stack this by paying using the 10% off monthly offer or by using your edr dollar credit?

Can you stack this by paying using the 10% off monthly offer

      No.

or by using your edr dollar credit?

      No.

      • It is against the Everyday Rewards terms and conditions to use Everyday Rewards Dollars credit to pay for any gift cards, and

      • If you are paying not using Everyday Pay, you (or the staff member) will not see an option on the payment screen at the checkout to use Everyday Rewards Dollars, and

      • If you are attempting to pay using Everyday Pay, you (or the staff member) will not see an option on the payment screen at the checkout to use Everyday Rewards Dollars, plus payment would then fail, because you cannot use Everyday Pay as a payment method for any gift cards.

  • Thanks. I brought a $492.05 card with 2 x coles mc but pos charged $492 and got the $30 edr dollars right away. Not sure how to spend the 5cent remaining . I guess they would have stooped people trying to use this card to buy another?

    • Woolworths blocked the Perfect EFTPOS gift cards pictured in the catalogue from being used to purchase another Perfect EFTPOS gift card pictured in the catalogue a number of months ago.

    • Good on you! I thought the moment you say, split payment for a gift card purchase, POS system has a hissy fit.

    • Self serve?

    • self serve split payment coles or woolies for 5c

Do these by any chance trigger weekly everyday rewards points offers?

    • +1

No. Have tried on a few different offers.

    • +3

In my experience, the variable load Perfect EFTPOS gift cards used to randomly trigger some bonus points boosters, but this stopped around September 2022 after Everyday Rewards made an update to their back-end systems.

I'm not sure about the $50 and $100 denominations, but I suspect they also do not currently trigger any bonus points boosters at the moment.

Keep trying when some new gift cards appear.

  • if buy 8 cards in one transaction in one day and scan my reards card, do i get points for 8 cards ?

    • I would say no, because the terms and conditions of the deal says you can only earn points on a maximum of 5 gift cards per Everyday Rewards account per day.

  • Be warned - although OP copy pasted T&Cs and the 1 txn limit per day is not in current catalogue , it seems the limit per transaction per day IS being enforced.. unfortunately I was not paying attention and missed the points tally on 2nd card purchase and just proceeded with purchase ..
    1st card - 5000pts
    2nd card - 500 pts

Anyone else experience the same? Hate having to chase them up…

    • Limit of 5 cards per transaction and one transaction per day per Rewards Member.

      • That text doesnt appear in the current catalogue, in fact you even agreed above that you copy pasted it from a previous offer.

        • And then I checked again and under the catalogue it has exactly the same terms and conditions as the previous deal. That's why I left it as it was.

just argue that the store wouldn't let you do it in one transaction, which is the case for me.
you have to wait 14 working days before calling which is a PIA.

    • Isn't the 2nd purchase for 0 point?

      • +1

Definitely got 500 points for 2nd txn for a $500 card, which is very strange as you are right, should have been 0 ..(if it was limited transactions per day)
WA catalogue definitely has no wording related to number of transactions per day..
Just says "Limit of 5 cards per day per Rewards Member"
Just seeing if others have same experience

    • For what it's worth, next week's promotion also makes no mention of a transaction limit and the daily limit for that offer is 10 cards a day. I think they may have just messed up the implementation this week.

      • Whats next week promo?

        • We can't talk about Woolworths promotions before 5pm Monday but it's not exactly hard to find information.

  • Probably been shared before, so can we use 2 250 Coles Mastercards to purchase one 500 EFPTOS card to get the woolies points?

    • No. You'll be $7.95 short.

      • +1

Only if ya don't know the trick

  • Looks like theres more restrictions on these cards..
    1. Unable to pay SRO VIC in Auspost
    2. Unable to use at Coles or Woolworths to buy gift cards (Myer and TCN). Was able to earlier in the year or last year
