  • Subject to the terms and conditions set out in this warranty, IWGM agrees to replace or repair the product which it supplied to you at its own cost, in circumstances where the product does not perform in accordance with product’s specifications during the 12 month warranty period.

Warranty is provided by the seller, not by the manufacturer.

  • +1

    Domingo,

Yes we warrant the product to be free of any manufacturer defects. This camera is shipped from HK and would not be otherwise covered by Nikon Australia Warranty.

Regardless, we cover replace or repair, not trying to confuse anyone :)

    • Thanks for stating this clearly not like some who tries to deceive our fellow ozbargainers.

    • My post was purely informative, not trying to sway people either way. Some people insist on manufacturer warranty, others are fine with 3rd party. It's not immediately apparent from the post, so decided to point it out.

  • Is D3200 better than D5100 ? There are sites like kogan where you can buy a D5100 for the same price.

    • In terms of megapixel count, D3200 is great value. The image quality is not as good in D5100 and the D3200 doesn't have a flip-out screen. Just some of the differences.

Check this page out for a bit of a comparison: http://snapsort.com/compare/Nikon-D3200-vs-Nikon-D5100

  • I think the price is also very reasonable, for a very good camera

  • ahhhhhhhh! D5100 or the D3200? must resist….

  • $29 cheaper than Kogan (including shipping). Cheaper than eglobal ($581 including shipping, unless you have a discount coupon)… so yes, a very competitive price if you were considering this camera. Me, I'm hanging out for the D600…. (http://snapsort.com/compare/Nikon-D600-vs-Nikon-D3200 - specs not confirmed of course!)

    • Not to mention the D600 is slated to be 3 times the price of the D3200!

      • Well…. slated for a $1500 price, but if that's RRP then it will (after the initial buying frenzy) be able to be found for less…. plus a full frame sensor is around 2.5 times (OK, 23.215.4 vs 3624 so maybe 2.42) the size of the APS-C sensor in the 3200. Does that mean it will be 2.42 times better than the 3200? Of course not - but I still want it… ;-)
