    goddamn this is insane price

  • No stock

  • Gone it seems

  • It shows $129 for me now. Still way better price than last year lol

    • For $124 you can get Corsair (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18 from Amazon (presumably free delivery even without prime, though I'm not sure how that works). https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07ZPLM1R1?m=ANEGB3WVEVKZB&th=1

Higher MHz, though a lower C value is better I think?

      • CL18 Vs CL16 tho…from what I have seen the memory timing matters more than maximum bandwidth speed.

        • 3200 CL16 and 3600 CL18 have the same absolute latency of 10ns and they are effectively the same at XMP settings. If you could get 3200 CL16 and 3600 CL18 kits at the same price, I would just go the 3600 CL18 mainly just because of the binning process for 3200 CL16 kits as explained here

But if you're planning to just set these at XMP settings, do have a look on pcpartpicker if there are any decently priced 3600 CL16 kits or something similar (e.g. 3600 CL17, 3733 CL17). These are essentially "fast XMP" kits

  • was just about to buy…oh well

similar deal on Amazon has reviews the ram is actually 3000 not 3200 as labelled

    • wouldn't that be more of wrong XML profile setting? I find it hard to believe a reputable company that's been around for some time like G.skill to get this wrong

  • How many do they have in stock, lol

  • Is there an option to pay cash? Not a fan of companies chucking a surcharge on for card payments when they refuse to accept other methods.

  • I've had a similar kit for Aegis, reliable RAM, good deal

  • Had this kit for 3 years, lasted about 5 builds and only just retired as i went ddr4
Not flashy but does the job
