  • Looks pretty decent price wise, although "parts of the Telstra network" might be an issue as I'm in a regional area.

Also, does anyone know what the Samsung discount is that they offer? Mentions it on their website but no details.

It's just Telstra wholesale network. Get an Aldi $5 sim if you want to test coverage

Aldi $5 sim if you want to test coverage

        Boost has better coverage.

Yes boost is full Telstra network but this deal is not boost.

I use Aldi, I don't think they restrict their 4G speeds like everyone else, if that's important to some. Here you only get 100mb/s or 250 on 5G. Aldi I get over 130 in a not so great area on 4G

      • Good idea, wasn't aware they were so cheap. Aldi is not far from me so might give that a go.

  • Thanks OP, was just churning our FTTP to them… had a look and it seems their 4g plan will suffice for us too. :)

Service is not that good. I had to port out to boost. Boost and More use Telstra Network but with more I had the issue of call dropping and also people were complaining that they cannot reach me. 85% of calls dropped and they were of no help. They just advise to lodge a complaint and they will resolve but that takes ages. You have to keep chasing. Not recommended at all.

    • I have the same issue. Just came from optus and even though signal was lower by a bar or two the speed was way better.

    • Yeah, same happened with me. They have no app. Website is too confusing and more of the callers can reach me. I just got missed call message.
Now I've ported to tangerine, they have 100% similar webiste and almost similar reception. Calls dropping out too.
Now I'm looking for boost cashback deal or I'll port to woolworths mobile.

      • I have More and their cell service and NBN has been rock solid for me.

More is a spinoff of Tangerine - I called for tech support and they mistakenly "couldn't find me" and thought I was a Tangerine customer. As I've had nothing but good experiences with Tangerine, going with More for basically the exact same product much cheaper was a no brainer.

        • I asked more NBN customer support for CG NAT on my service.

First they told me they couldn't help me and to look at my modem settings, then they told me I needed a business plan for a static ip (not the same thing)

I don't have much faith of a good experience after that

          • +2

@greatlamp: Why would you want cg nat? Most people want it removed.

All their plans have sticky ips that might as well be static. You can be offline for a while and still get the same ip when you reconnect.

If you were asking to add cgnat they were probably confused.

            • @MetalPhreak: My mixup, I asked to opt out of CG Nat. I have ip cameras and I was unable to login, my ip was not exposed externally.

No, that wasn't the source of confusion, being told I need to change modem settings shows they have no idea.

I was with More last month then I moved to Belong Mobile. I wouldn’t recommend More as call drops out a lot and some times people can’t reach me. So far Belong is okay but I might move back to Boost Mobile. I am waiting for boost 12 month deals then I switch. Overall I would boost is better.

  • i used more for hotspot for home internet and it worked well. But i can say it was a bit choppy with the internet here and there and it was fine with the previous provider i was with BUT in saying that i now have MORE FTTP NBN now which has been great so far.

But can confirm they do have regular drop outs and I'm in a well serviced area.
