Saw this and researched local price for items. Rhino whole house filter local price $1,295, US price US$769.50 plus (expensive) shipping or free ship to forwarder in North America. They will ship direct to Oz but not if you buy from them over Amazon (showing same price). Smaller filters and cartridges on sale too.
Never used one. Read this page http://www.aquasana.com/water_filters.php for their take on it.
I heard what they say about bottled water already, someone told me it's regulated only in the UK, therefore presumably any company could put tap water in a bottle and sell it.
They have an Australian website too, however only the US one is offering the sale atm.
