        I cook on electric. The side handles are fine and cool, but when I boil water the top handle on the lid gets hot so I use a tea towel to grab it. Hope this helps.

        My wife has complained about hot handles, though I've never had an issue. On the gas stove, just make sure you choose the right hob/setting, the flames shouldn't extend past the base of the pan.
