Huh?
It was 15% cashback last month (twice) and in July 2021, plus it was 16% cashback in October 2022, so it is not getting worse every time.
It merely shows that MYER’s boosted cashback rates (at least for the Beauty category) usually fluctuates between 15% and 22%… and this deal is on the lower end of that spectrum.
Used to be 20%, then 18%, then 17% now 16%.
Let’s look at all the MYER / Cashrewards deals over the past calendar year to see why your statement makes no sense whatsoever.

There is no clear 20% > 18% > 17% > 16% stepdown trend that you are claiming, especially since there were three occasions in February and March this year where the cashback rate was 15% (which is lower than today’s cashback rate). Sure, it has been a while since there has been a 20% cashback rate for Beauty, but you were not claiming that in your original statement.
The Cashrewards email indicates it is for all categories, not just Home/Electronics/Electrical. ↩
@WookieMonster: They really did trigger you, but good table nonetheless.
@BigDaddy365: I’m not sure that I would use the word trigger. If one tolerates bullshit long enough, it stops smelling
@WookieMonster: It bad with just that crappy category .
@lostgoat: I disagree. Ugly people need all the help they can get
only buy it during black Friday, 20% off + 20% CB (even Tom ford is on sale)
