App issue is mental. I have stopped using the ecovacs that I have. It makes me hate it. Not sure what’s the other best option out there. :(
My mother in law has the Roomba i7+, it's amazing, no mop attachment but the app and vacuum cleaner are 10x better than my Ecovacs T8+.
That will be my next purchase after my ecovacs dies (already died once just inside warranty next time it will be out of warranty and I'll upgrade to a Roomba product).
I had the exact same app issues with my 950 but since getting the X1 it's only dropped the map once and I was able to restore it in a few clicks. Had it since the aussie launch nearly a year ago and it's been flawless.
Interesting, I've been using this X1 model for the last month and so far it's been going well. No map issues yet so fingers crossed it stays that way.

that's the one I got currently that forget maps all the time. Won't be getting Ecovacs unless they fix the issue, looking at Roborock and others

I love my ecovacs T9+ but the app issues drive me crazy. It forgets the map all the time, says offline, can't easliy edit. I don't think I'd get another Ecovacs just because of the app!
