I've been watching to catch a price drop on this for a while, as I've wanted a small flexible tripod for close to the ground nature photography.
Its typically in the $70 range and now roughly $20 less than usual.
Some reviews say it can't strictly handle the 3kg limit, but looks to be a well rated mini tripod if you're looking for camera stability on uneven places.

4.6 / 5 stars based on 11,502 ratings.

Versatile
Mount compact DSLR and mirrorless cameras, flashes, video lights or any device weighing less than 3 kg (6.6 lbs) with a ¼"-20 tripod mount.

Precise
Features a 360° panning bed and 90° tilt and bubble level for optimal position control. Use the built-in bubble level for perfect shots in portrait or landscape mode.

Take it Anywhere
Capture unique shots from ground level to high up in a rig, with one easy to configure tripod that fits in almost any bag or backpack. This tripod is light enough to carry >everywhere and strong enough to get the job done.

That’s roughly under 2kg payload. On the other hand, I have no issues with 7D (914gm) plus 600-700gm lens.

      • Cheers, good to know as mines under 1 kg too

  • Does anyone know the rough size of the 'bumps' on the tripod legs?
